This system starts when fiberglass band is fed into an air-driven choppong motor that precisely chops the glass into millions of ½” strands. Then those strands are blown into a fan pattern using 4 air jets, where it is precisely blended in mid-air, with 2 converging fan patterns of clay asphalt emulsion. The process is much like the system used to make boats. Can be installed over- built up, single ply, modified, EPDM, concrete, and metal.
Installation Process:
- Surface Preparation
- Correct any major surface defects
- Make any flashing alterations
- Install flood layer of fiberglass and clay emulsion (poly fabric if neccary)
- Install reflective top coat
