Roofs need maintance to ensure that they will in most cases last forever.

 

• Keep valleys, gutters, and downspouts clear of leaves or other obstructions.

 

 

• Trim tree branches hanging over roof or that are in contact with the roof.
• Repair small problems before they become large problems.
